The 2021 Lib-Tech Box Knife is the left brain to the Box Scratchers right brain, being more calculated, methodical, and precise in its approach to snowboarding. The Box Knife is the favoured board of Denver Orr and Ted Borland for freestyle progression and the board for choice for Jesse Burtner’s backcountry and all mountain freestyle performance, with a more aggressive and early rising camber dominant profile holding a strong edge and handling high speed and big landings without worry while still manipulating powder with ease. Soft enough to press and play, but stable enough to charge through bumpy run ins and sketchy landings, the Box Knife is a board that won’t just scratch the surface of what the mountain has to offer, it’ll cut right through.
Rider Level: Intermediate – Advanced
Board Type: All terrain everything
Camber Type: C3

Very mild rocker between your feet with powerful camber to the tip and tail. This is Mervins version of traditional camber, offering maximum edge hold, pop, power and precision with extra float and carve. Early rise camber allows this board to float in powder better than traditional camber snowboards.
Flex: 5.5/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)
Shape: Twin
This twin shape is the same tip to tail, and can perform just as well in switch as it does regular.
Core: OP+ – Original Power Construction + Sintered Base

Light, environmentally nice, strong. Combines 75% Aspen and 25% Paulownia woods with Triax and Biax Fibreglass for a great long lasting ride.
Base: Eco-Sublimated Sintered
Fast and rugged with maximum wax retention, plus a bit of extra environmental care.
Mounting Pattern: 2×4 inserts

Magnetraction – 7 strategically placed serrations along the edges of the board grip onto the snow and hold a strong edge in any condition.
