Nitro Volta 2023

Get out there and start earning your turns with the 2023 Nitro Volta Splitboard, the perfect, entry level splitboard for any rider while still providing the bells and whistles you need, without having to break the bank. As a splitboard that absolutely loves to adventure into the back country the easy to use Flat Out Rocker profile makes the ride from the top of the mountain nice and supportive with also providing tons of float in powder. Fully fitted with all the same hardware as the highest priced Nitro splitboard, the Volta is the perfect introduction to the world of splitboarding so you can ditch the lift lines and escape to the backcountry.

Included with the Volta Splitboard are the Nitro PEAK pre-cut skins. Built to last using solvent-free Hot-Melt technology.

Camber Type: Flat Out Rocker

Flat-out Rocker is a flat/rocker hybrid, placing a long flat section insert to insert with rocker sections starting before the contact points, raising the nose and tail and providing effortless turns and catch-free progression. This lifted nose and tail enhance float and pressability while the flat camber stays playful and stable across the entire mountain.

Flex: 5/10 (Mid)

This is Nitro’s most versatile all-terrain flex pattern, combining great pop and smooth response.

Shape: Directional Splitboard

With a longer nose than tail, you get better float in deep snow as well as smooth entry and exits to turns.

Core: PowerCore

Comprised of tip to tail Poplar wood, which provides an ideal blend of flex, response, and feel, while remaining strong and lightweight.

Base: Premium Extruded FH Base

A super durable base that is easy to maintain.

Additional Features:

Bi-Lite Laminate – Engineered for strength, style, and refined board-feel

Radial Sidecut –A single radius along the length of the board makes this sidecut extremely versatile and predictable.

Powerpods – Nitro overlays two separate sidecut radii, a tighter one in the centre plus a larger one in the tip and tail, creating extended board width under the bindings for additional edge control on hard and icy surfaces, along with enhancing response and control.
