Salomon HPS – Wolle Nyvelt 157 2021 *PREORDER*

The 2021 Salomon HPS – Wolle Nyvelt 157 has been designed with team rider and founder of Asmo Pow Surfers, Wolfgang Nyvelt. Based off Asmo shapes, this board has a massive waist width for incredible float while still retaining edge to edge response, giving you effortless performance in powder as well as strong carves on groomers. Keeping it clean with a natural walnut wrapping and a standout powder shape, the HPS Wolle Nyvelt 157 keeps you in touch with nature and gives you peace on a powder day.

Shape: Tapered Directional

This board has a longer nose and a tapered tail which loosens up turning initiation and improves floatation in deeper snow without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack.

Quadratic Sidecut – A blend of elliptic curves for easy turn initiation, effortless direction changes and fluid edge to edge transitions.

Core: Ghost Green Core

The Ghost Green Core consists of specially selected components designed for maximum pop and minimum weight, in addition to sustainable Paulownia wood for further weight reduction.

BA MD Glass – Medium Density fibreglass that guarantees consistent quality and light, lively performance.

Popster – Pop meets performance. Popster shapes the woodcore profile with strategically placed variations of thickness, providing skate-influenced snap and pop.

Base: Sintered EG

High speed and good wax retention, so you can go faster for longer. The Sintered EG base has an Electra finish for turbocharged glide and Gallium for extra impact resistance.

Mounting Pattern: 2×4 Inserts

Additional Features:

All Mountain Edge Bevel – Pre-tuned edges for strong edge hold with less catch.

Fine Stone Finish – This stone finish gives the base extra glide for even more speed.

ABS Sidewalls – These sidewalls are placed in the board to promote energy transfer, dampen vibrations, and soften hard landings.

Walnut Wrapper – This board has a natural walnut wood grain wrapping for a premium look, maximised power, and reduced fibreglass and resin content.
